The SSPP Residential School has a total strength of 500 students, with adequate and efficient teaching and non-teaching staff. The Headmaster/Headmistress is the head of the school administration. The school has five departmental divisions for efficacy and smooth functioning viz., Discipline, Examination, Games & Sports, Co-curricular Activities and Medicare & Refreshment. The school provides education till the 10th standard and is recognized under Board of Secondary Education Manipur.

Admission procedure includes submission of application form, written test and interview.

Even if these procedure clearances are necessary, students are also selected by giving preference to orphans and the poor. Though the institution is run by the Siamsinpawlpi, a Paite student organization, enrolment of students is conducted in the most unbiased manner, opening for all the tribes of the surrounding community. The school also has hostel facilities which housed students with no proper and definite place to stay during their course of studies. The hostel situated at Nghathal has a separate accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostellers are supervised by a male and female - wardens who help maintain discipline and guide in their studies and ensure proper time management.
