About Siamsinpawlpi Residential School

SSPP Residential School is an English medium school which was established in the year 1998. Upon its inception, the school was set up with the aim of attending the educational needs of the children who were severely affected by the ethnic clash that happened in 1997 in Churachandpur district. The school, in its present state, serves disadvantaged and poor students with no relatives in and nearby the town in its residential educational programme.

The school provides free and quality education, free uniforms and books which is sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The school is fully funded and does not require payment of fees. It also has adequate teaching aids to assist teachers in facilitating education

Management:

The school is managed by a committee known as ‘School Managing Committee’ set up by the GHQ Executive Committee for a term of two years. The School Management Committee comprises Chairman, Secretary, Finance Secretary and four other members with the President and General Secretary of SSPP GHQ as Ex-officio members. It is responsible for catering to the overall governance of the school and deals directly with the funding agency. The Committee looks after the financial and administrative matters of the school and is mandated to submit annual reports to the Government i.e., the funding agency. Internally, the Committee is accountable to the Standing Committee which may require its activity and financial reports as deemed necessary.
